Agricamping
xperienceNature Agricamping by Tenute il Maggese is a startup still in its early stages, and you can help turn it into reality.
Do you own a camper or a camper van?
Get in touch with us to come and visit and collaborate in creating the spaces of the future Agricamping.
You will be staying in a tent in the middle of our farm, benefiting from comforts such as hot showers and toilets, as well as an equipped cooking area with a refrigerator, electricity and water, and an electricity column to recharge your electronic devices. There will also be a secure fire spot for roasting or barbecuing.

You will be able to taste seasonal fruit, depending on availability, picked directly from our Agroforest, however initially the fruits will be scarce as the plants are still young. That is why we grow vegetables that we will harvest daily to be shared, the variety and quantity of which will depend on how generous Mother Nature will be.
You will have the opportunity to learn from Stefania and Salvatore the techniques of Regenerative Agriculture, Food Forest management and water management that they use to care for the land. You can get in tune with Nature by immersing yourself in the silence of the countryside of Tortolì, a lively seaside town located a short distance from breathtaking beaches and just over an hour’s drive from the Gulf of Orosei and Gennargentu National Park, ideal destinations for trekking and climbing enthusiasts (find out more in the “What to see in Ogliastra” section).
More responsible travellers will have the opportunity to reduce the environmental impact of their holiday by planting fruit trees, which they will see grow from a distance thanks to Stefania and Salvatore’s updates (to find out more, read Carbon Footprint Reduction Project). You will have the opportunity to book horseback riding tours at the recently opened riding school that borders the estate, which can be reached on foot. You will also be able to catch a glimpse of the traditional and characteristic dry stone walls along the borders of the estate, and have the opportunity to discover the numerous archaeological sites in the surrounding area.
These include the S’Ortali ‘e Su Monti Archaeological Park (which includes a Nuraghe, a pre-Nuragic tomb called domus de janas or “fairy house”, a megalithic circle with calendrical significance, and the characteristic collective burial sites called the “tombs of the giants“), the Menhirs of Perda Longa (sacred stones that bear witness to ancient rituals) and the domus de janas of Fund’e Monti.
What are you waiting for?
See you
